The journey of animals.
If you’ve ever watched the series Heartland, you’ll know what my personal journey is about and why my mission is set out to help animals. Just like Amy Fleming, horses love being around me and it all feels so right and natural for me too.
I am one of the fortunate ones in this world to have found my life’s purpose, the gift of communicating with animals and helping rescue animals which usually also solve behaviour issues.
My journey to embrace my higher purpose began when I was young. I grew up on a dairy farm. My family showed deep respect for our dairy cows, speaking to them as valuable creatures with feelings and emotions. I was addicted to watching “The Black Stallion”. I yearned to be like the boy in the movie, who had such a strong bond with his horse named Black. It was then that I began to understand how life was preparing me to get into the work of animal communication & Reiki with horses.
Animals need to be heard, seen, and understood as well as us humans. There is powerful shealing in these nurturing relationships.
My journey of self-discovery, healing, animal behaviour and learning various practices and understanding the energy systems of life began. I could feel the love offered by the animals and experienced profound personal healing through animal therapy as well. With growing intuition, my connection to animals continued to develop.
Horses kept coming to me.
Horses were increasingly brought to me in many unexpected ways. Throughout my sessions I help animals get more grounded and help heal their trauma. They are highly emotional intelligent and healing energy brings them inner peace.
Mission possible.
During a meeting with a wise woman, it made me realize that my seemingly unrelated life experiences were there to lead me into working with horses. It was a common theme from other healers that I worked with. My natural empathy, compassion and kindness toward animals gave me the ability to give a voice to what they needed from us humans and was clearly coming through.
It’s an honor for me to do this work and I see it as something very sacred. After watching the movie “The Horse Whisperer” something clicked inside me, and I knew this was my purpose. Healing horses by helping them to be heard and understood.
I use Reiki in my sessions to help speed up the healing process. Reiki is Universal Life Force Energy, which we can use in unlimited ways and bring energy to the parts of us and our horses that are not flowing freely. When the energy flows, we feel more attuned to the world around us, have more patience, and are healthier in general, on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level.
